5k: run 3.1 miles
10k: run 6.2 miles

2011 Dewey Kvidt Memorial Duathlon, 5K & 10K:
Individuals or 2-person teams for duathlon.
Medals and cash awards to top 3 overall male & female and top team in each category of duathlon.
Medals and gift certificates to top 3 overal male and famale in 5K walk/run and 10K run.

Both run legs follow the same out-and-back course on bike paths and city streets.
The entire run course is flat.
There is one water stop on the run course that runners will pass by twice.
The bike course is entirely flat, except for the slight rise of the I-29 overpass.
A bike support crew will be roaming the bike course during the race.
